KEVIN SCHMIDT

Kevin is an attorney with Timoney Knox, LLP in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.  He has a diverse law practice that includes a high percentage of litigation on commercial and residential property damage matters. He also counsels construction companies on general business and contract matters, and litigates contract claims, construction defects, and prompt payment act and procurement code issues. In addition, he also litigates industrial and consumer product matters. Kevin also handles commercial and residential real estate transactions, leases and any general litigation involved.  Kevin also counsels corporate/business clients for all matters including ownership and sale agreements, contracts and succession planning, and collection matters. Kevin's experience includes serving as a litigation associate with several Philadelphia firms, handling diverse matters including property damage matters, insurance subrogation, product liability, construction defects and real estate. Kevin is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the state of New Jersey along with the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Montgomery County Bar Association and active in the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce.  

Kevin obtained his undergraduate degree from Gettysburg College, where he was captain of the Varsity football team.  He earned his law degree from Widener University School of Law where, during the course of his studies he was an assistant law clerk to the Honorable James J. Fitzgerald, III in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas. After law school, Kevin also served as a law clerk to the Honorable William R. Carpenter in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. Kevin was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and attended LaSalle College High School prior to matriculating at Gettysburg College. He and his family are members of Corpus Christi Parish in Lansdale. Kevin is the proud father of two children and also an assistant football coach at LaSalle College High School.
