Back-to-School Bash

How can I get involved?
Simply click on the link to Volunteer Opportunities and submit a volunteer application. Or get information about attending one of the Stewards' Alliance special events by putting your name on our mailing list.

Who is a steward?
A Christian steward is one who receives God's gifts gratefully, cherishes and tends them in a responsible and accountable manner, shares them in justice and love with others, and returns them with increase to the Lord.

Can I involve my children?
Yes. Although the Stewards' Alliance is a group primarily for young professionals, we do encourage parents to bring their age-appropriate children to our group activities. This is a wonderful way for children to learn about stewardship.

Can my company donate services for the annual silent auction?
Yes. We are always looking for new and exciting items for our auction. We are also looking for companies to sponsor the event. Decreasing overhead costs allow more of the proceeds to go directly to the schools of special education. To make a donation or become a corporate sponsor, please call the Stewards' Alliance at (215) 587-3651.

I don't have a lot of free time, but I would like to volunteer; can I still be a member?
Yes. The Stewards' Alliance has many opportunities at different commitment levels. We can work together to find activities for you to do individually, or you can review our mailings and volunteer when a Stewardship Saturday works with your schedule.
